Our Story



Founded by three portfolio managers with complementary technical skills in financial mathematics, quantitative risk management, and statistics. They have used these disciplines within fundamental research, quantitative investment, and risk management across various capabilities. These include the management of active equity funds, enhanced index funds, smart-beta funds, multi-asset funds, and absolute return funds.

Thobile has a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of KwaZulu Natal and a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Accounting Sciences from UNISA. She started her career at National Treasury in 2013. While at National Treasury, she was part of their CA training programme and qualified to register as a member of SAICA at the end of 2017. She joined Lima Mbeu in September 2018.

Lameshka Naidoo

Lameshka has a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal. She started her career in 2014 at an Insurance Brokerage as an Investment Administrator. She then joined Lentus Asset Management as an operations analyst & part trader from August 2015 and joined Lima Mbeu in November 2019.
